Texas STEM Education Week

by Gina Morales on May 11, 2013

It’s STEM Education Week!

May 6-12, 2013 has been proclaimed by Texas officials as a celebration of STEM Education, collaboratively supported by STEM related corporations and institutions.

We welcome families and friends to join in celebrating Science Technology Engineering and Math through as many experiences as you can fit into a STEM Education Week.

Michelangelo was a successful architect, engineer and a notably magnificent poet, sculptor, and artist. The same range of interest and connectivity exists within all learners. A spark from a STEM experience can lead to many types of learning.

Present a nature question, go on an excursion, ask what your learner is interested in, tap into the city or just your pantry and celebrate STEM Education. Don’t hold back from any other learning that will follow.
